FITC-CM-dextran 150 is prepared from a dextran 150 fraction and supplied as a yellow powder which is freely soluble in water or electrolyte solutions. The FITC-content lies between 0.003 - 0.008 and the carboxymethyl content is about 5%. The limits for the mean molecular weight are 160000 u2013 200000.
